Guidelines

⚖️ 1. General principles

• Common sense comes first. If something feels like cheating, harassment or abuse, it probably is. The spirit of a rule counts as much as its wording: looking for loopholes is a breach in itself.
• Everyone is welcome, whatever their age, origin, gender, religion, disability or sexual orientation. BloxRealm is played by many young players: keep everything suitable for them.
• Staff have the final say on how these Guidelines apply. You can disagree, politely, through a ticket, never in public chat.
• Report, don't retaliate. If someone breaks a rule, report it (section 11). Getting revenge yourself can get you sanctioned too.
• One account, one person, one set of rules. Sanctions follow the person, not the account.
• These Guidelines can change. Changes are announced on the website or the forums and apply from their announcement. The version on this page is the one in force.

🤝 2. Respect and safety

Disagreements and rivalries are part of the game, in particular between towns and nations. Attacking people is not.

• 🚫 No insults, harassment, bullying or threats, in any language, in public or in private. Harassment includes repeatedly targeting the same player, following them around to annoy them, or encouraging others to gang up on them.
• 🚫 No discrimination or hate speech: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, antisemitism, islamophobia or any other hatred, including as a "joke", in a username, a skin, a build, a sign or a book.
• 🚫 No threats of real-world harm, DDoS, hacking or doxxing, even as a joke. Real threats are reported to the authorities.
• 🚫 No sexual content and no sexual or romantic approach towards minors. Any attempt to get a minor to share photos, personal information or to talk in private outside our Services leads to a permanent ban and is reported to the authorities.
• 🚫 No encouragement of self-harm or suicide. If someone seems to be in danger, tell a staff member immediately. If you are struggling yourself, please talk to someone you trust or contact a helpline in your country.
• 🚫 No shocking content: gore, violence, animal cruelty, drugs, or anything unsuitable for a young audience.
• 🚫 No real-world politics or religion debates in chat. Role-play politics between towns and nations is welcome.
• 🙏 Be kind to newcomers. Help them, don't trap them, mock them or exploit their inexperience.

🔐 3. Privacy and personal information

• 🕵️ No doxxing: never share anyone's personal information (real name, age, address, school, photos, phone number, social media accounts, IP address) without their consent, even if it is "public" somewhere else.
• 🧒 Protect yourself: don't share your own personal information in chat, on the forums or in tickets. The staff will never ask for it, nor for your password.
• 📸 No screenshots or recordings used to humiliate someone. Recordings used as evidence in a report are of course allowed.
• 🔗 No suspicious links: phishing, IP grabbers, fake "free ranks" or downloads. Never click a link promising free Coins or ranks: it's always a scam.
• 🤝 Never agree to meet someone you only know online without telling a trusted adult, if you are a minor.

💬 4. Chat, private messages and voice chat

• 📢 No spam: flooding, repeated messages, excessive CAPS, walls of emojis or characters, chains of messages to bypass the filter, or spamming commands.
• 📣 No advertising for other servers, Discords, websites, services or products, in public or in private, including by sending IP addresses or invitations. Talking about other games is fine; promoting them is not.
• 🙏 Don't beg players or staff for money, items, Coins or ranks.
• 🌍 French and English are both welcome in public chat. Use town (/tc) or nation (/nc) chat on Survival, or private messages, for long conversations in another language.
• 🔕 Don't get around the chat filter with spelling tricks or symbols. If a word is filtered, there is a reason.
• 🎙️ Voice chat (proximity, on servers that support it): the same rules apply. No screaming, loud noises, music or soundboards to annoy others, no recording people without their consent.
• 🤖 No automated messages or bots in chat.

🎨 5. Usernames, skins, builds and signs

Everything others can see must be suitable for everyone. This covers your username, your skin and cape, nicknames, town and nation names, pets, item names, signs, books, banners, maps, pixel art and builds.

• ❌ Nothing offensive, sexual, hateful, violent or political (real-world).
• ❌ No impersonation: no names or skins copying a staff member, a famous creator or another player to deceive people.
• ❌ No advertising for other servers or services.
• ✅ The staff may rename, remove or ask you to change anything that breaks this section. If your Minecraft username itself is inappropriate, you will be asked to change it before playing again.

🛡️ 6. Fair play: cheats, mods and bugs

• 🤔 Unsure about a mod? Ask the staff in a ticket before using it. "I didn't know" is not accepted for well-known cheats.
• 🐛 Bugs, glitches and duplications must be reported, never used, shared or kept secret. Reporting a serious bug can be rewarded; abusing one is sanctioned, and everything obtained with it is removed.
• 🏗️ No lag machines, chunk loaders abusing the server, or builds made to slow it down or crash it. Large farms must stay reasonable; the staff may reduce them.
• 🤖 AFK: automatic redstone farms are allowed where the server rules allow them; programs, macros or weighted keys that play for you are not. Use the official AFK features (such as the AFK Pond on Survival).
• ⚔️ No abuse of game mechanics to kill or trap players in ways the server rules forbid (spawn killing, logging out in combat…).

👤 7. Accounts and security

• 🔐 You are responsible for your account, and for everything done with it, even if someone else used it. Use a strong password that you don't use anywhere else.
• 👥 One main account per person. Alternate accounts are tolerated only if they don't break any rule: they can't be used to get around a sanction, vote several times, farm rewards, inflate a town's population or help your main account in PvP or the economy.
• 💱 No selling, buying, lending or sharing of accounts. A shared account is treated as one person: if one of the users breaks the rules, the account is sanctioned.
• 🚫 Ban evasion (coming back on another account, or through someone else's account, while banned) leads to a permanent ban of every account involved.
• 🌐 VPNs and proxies may be blocked by our anti-bot protection. If you can't connect because of it, contact the support.
• 🔗 Link your account with /link in game: it proves the account is yours and protects your profile.

💰 8. Trading, scams and real money

• 💶 No real-money trading: in-game money, Coins, items, ranks, land, builds, accounts or services can never be sold, bought or exchanged for real money, gift cards, items from other games or anything of real value. The only official way to buy is the store.
• 🤝 Trades between players are at your own risk. The staff don't refund bad deals. Each server's rules say what is allowed (for example scams in game are partly tolerated on Survival, with limits).
• 🙅 No scams involving real money, accounts, or the staff's name, and no scams using bugs (fake items, visual glitches).
• 🎰 No gambling for real money and no organized gambling involving Coins outside the official game features.
• 🎁 Giveaways must be announced honestly and their rewards actually given.

🌐 9. Website, forums and support tickets

• 📝 Post in the right category, with a clear title. Search before posting: your question may already have an answer.
• 🔁 No spam, flooding or bumping of old topics without anything new to add. No off-topic posts in serious categories.
• 🗣️ Debate ideas, not people. Criticism of the server is welcome when it is constructive.
• 🎫 Tickets: one ticket per problem, with all the details. Don't open the same ticket twice, don't insult the staff, and never lie in a ticket or an appeal: lying cancels it.
• 📎 Attachments and links must follow these Guidelines. Never upload someone else's personal information.
• 🚩 False reports made on purpose to get someone sanctioned are sanctioned themselves.

👮 10. Staff

• 🤝 Respect the staff and their decisions. They are volunteers who give their time to keep the servers fun and safe.
• 📩 Disagree in private: by ticket, never in public chat or on the forums. Insisting in public or harassing a staff member is sanctioned.
• 🎭 Never impersonate the staff, and don't claim to be friends with a staff member to get special treatment.
• ⚖️ Staff follow these Guidelines too. If you think a staff member abused their powers, open a ticket: it is reviewed by a higher-ranked staff member.
• 🙅 Don't ask to join the staff in chat. Applications are announced on the forums when they open.

📣 11. Reporting a problem

   Collect evidence

   Screenshots or a video showing the player's username, the date and what happened. For a build, note the server and the coordinates. Don't edit the evidence.

   Open a ticket

   In the support center, choose the server and the Player report category (or Bug report for a bug). Attach your files or paste links.

   Let the staff handle it

   Don't take revenge and don't make the report public. The staff will tell you when the report has been handled; for privacy reasons they may not tell you the exact sanction.

🚨 12. Sanctions

Sanctions depend on how serious the breach is, whether it was deliberate, and your history. The staff can skip steps for serious cases, and a sanction can apply to the whole network (all servers, the website and the forums) when the breach calls for it. Items, money, Coins or ranks obtained unfairly are removed.

Each server's rules add sanctions for their own gameplay rules (for example claim blocking or spawn killing on Survival). When you are sanctioned, you are told the reason, the rule concerned and the duration.

🙋 13. Appeals

• 📝 You can contest any sanction within 6 months by opening a Sanction appeal ticket in the support center. It's available even if your website account is banned.
• 🧾 Give the date, the server, the reason shown and your side of the story. Stay calm and honest: lying cancels the appeal.
• 👀 Appeals are reviewed by a person, if possible a staff member who wasn't involved in the sanction. We lift or reduce sanctions that turn out to be unjustified, and restore what was removed.
• ⏳ One appeal per sanction. Opening several tickets or insisting in public doesn't make it faster.
• ⚖️ You also keep the rights described in section 7 of our terms of use.
