Merging plots

Merging joins plots that are next to each other into one plot: the road between them disappears and becomes part of your build area. It's free, and you can undo it at any time.

📐 Sizes

A plot is 80 × 80 blocks and the roads are 7 blocks wide. When you merge, the road between the plots is added to your plot:

🛠️ How to merge

   Claim the plot next to yours

   Walk onto the empty plot right next to one of yours and type /plot claim. Both plots must be yours and touch each other (not just at a corner).

   Stand on your plot and look at the other one

   Go back onto one of the two plots and look toward the other plot.

   Type /plot merge

   The two plots become one and the road between them is cleared. You can also give the direction: /plot merge north (or east, south, west).

🔢 How many plots you can merge

A merged plot can be made of 4 plots at most, and it still counts as all the plots it's made of (4 merged plots count as 4 in your plot limit). Ranks with more plots can own several merged plots.

✂️ Splitting plots again

Stand on the merged plot and type /plot unlink: the plots become separate again and the roads come back. Blocks built on the old road are removed, so move them first if you want to keep them.

💡 Good to know

• Players you added with /plot add or /plot trust can build on the whole merged plot.
• Flags, the biome and the name you set in /plotmenu apply to the whole merged plot.
• /plot clear on a merged plot empties all of it. It's final.
• You can only merge your own plots: to build with a friend on a big area, merge your plots and /plot trust them.
