Kicked right after joining (resource pack)
Why it happens
The server resource pack is required. Declining it or failing to download it disconnects you.
How to fix it
- 1In Multiplayer, select the server, click Edit, and set Server Resource Packs to Enabled.
- 2Rejoin and click Yes when asked.
- 3If the download fails, check your internet connection and try again.
Outdated client / Incompatible client
Why it happens
Your Minecraft version is too different from the server's.
How to fix it
- 1Play on Java Edition 1.21.11.
You are banned from this server.
Why it happens
A staff member banned you for breaking the rules.
How to fix it
- 1The ban screen shows the reason and duration, and tells you how to appeal.
Timed out / Connection lost
Why it happens
Your connection dropped, or the server is restarting.
How to fix it
- 1Wait a minute and rejoin.
- 2Lower your render distance if it happens often.
